Pelvic Floor Foundations

Join Stefanie Peterson, Women's Health Coach specializing in pre- and postnatal fitness, and Dr. Katherine Romero, Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist, for a 90-minute workshop designed to help you better understand and support your pelvic floor.

You'll learn how your pelvic floor works, why it matters, and how breathwork and targeted exercises can help improve function, build strength, and reduce common symptoms. Through expert guidance from both a fitness and rehabilitation perspective, you'll leave with practical tools and strategies you can start using right away.

About Your Host

Stefanie Peterson is a women’s health and strength coach, birth worker, and mother of two based near Lincoln, Massachusetts. She has been coaching women all over the world since 2016.

Her work is guided by one clear mission: building strong women from the inside and out. Stefanie believes that when women feel at home in their bodies, they live their lives with more clarity, confidence, and intuition. She specializes in supporting women through transformative seasons such as pregnancy, birth, motherhood, and menopause — helping gain physical strength, emotional resilience, and deep self-trust.

Her workshops and retreats create warm, intentional experiences for women to move, connect with their bodies, and come together in a supportive community.


Katherine Romero, PT, DPT earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Simmons University in Boston and her Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Horseback Riding from Houghton University. Her clinical experiences include orthopedic and spinal surgery acute care, private outpatient focusing on female athletes, as well as outpatient pelvic health for all genders.

Through her clinical experiences Katherine has become passionate about pelvic health. She has worked with adults of many different ages and in various stages of life and strives to create an environment where her patients can be themselves and feel comfortable asking any questions. She has completed specialized training in pelvic health through the American Physical Therapy Association as well as through Herman and Wallace.

Katherine originally found her passion for physical therapy through her work as a therapeutic horseback riding instructor as well as through her interest in long distance running. She spent four years teaching therapeutic horseback riding to children with a variety of disabilities and valued the experience of working alongside various rehabilitation specialists.

In her free time, Katherine enjoys spending time with her husband, running while listening to mystery audiobooks, and baking.
